Episode 181: Dr. Janathan Paramsothy

Dr. Jananthan Paramsothy received internal medicine training at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York. He has also worked as an anesthesiologist and critical care physician in Sri Lanka. He has published several peer-reviewed articles, one on a study of auto-brewery syndrome. He is also a student in the Executive MPH program at Yale School of Public Health. 

We have heard much about the microbiome and its possible role in food addiction. We at Food Junkies are interested to know what role gut fermentation syndrome might be contributing to our food addiction as a result of the ultra-processed foods that so many of us are eating.
